On Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m., we're organizing an important event for the future of our town and region – a Parish-wide Assembly of Congregations & Citizen Organizations at the Louisiana Cotton Museum. 

Delegations are attending from congregations and organizations across the parish, including ours.

For the first time in a LONG time, congregations and organizations are coming together to build a way for ordinary people to take action to solve our common problems. 

It’s called Delta Interfaith.

And it’s going to build a much more powerful vehicle to address issues like childcare, streets and street lights. Good-paying jobs. Fair taxes. Recreational opportunities for young people. Affordable utilities. Whatever we decide we have the energy to work on.

The April 12th assembly will be an in-person event at the Louisiana Cotton Museum.
